65 yr old female with severe radicular pain n not able to lie straight. Not helped with epidural steroid.

Swetabh Verma There is central stenosis at L4 L5 with left foraminal stenosis at L5 S1..both levels hav to b decompressed to address radicular symptoms..u can go in fr fenestration/over the top decompression at L4L5 from left side while doing foraminotomy and discectomy L5S1 also from left side..whether to fix or not depends on pts main complaint,back pain,x ray findings and any instability..if the above mentioned procedure is done,u need not fix it
